Faculty Development Seminar on climate change

This Faculty Development Seminar of Spring semester will feature a discussion of teaching climate change (and issues relating to global sustainability) within the Core and GLS curricula.  

Faculty members Casey King, Christian Parenti, Astrid Cerny, Roxana Julia, and Francesca Ferrando will each talk about their teaching and research and how these topics can be taught from interdisciplinary and global perspectives.  

Our presenters will discuss ways in which environmental issues can be taught in a number of curricular areas, not just in Environmental Studies, and at all levels.

The seminar will take place on Friday, February 6th, from 10AM to Noon, in the Great Room, 19 University Place, NYU.
